We are a medium-sized company with four U.S. locations, serving as a Department of Defense (DoD) contractor with a focus on research & development and commercial coating manufacturing. The Talent Acquisition Lead will manage recruiting efforts across both areas of the business, driving the sourcing and hiring of top engineering and technical talent as well as skilled manufacturing professionals to support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

· Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for technical, engineering, manufacturing, and professional roles across all company locations.

· Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top candidates, including passive talent from diverse pipelines.

· Partner with hiring managers and executives to forecast workforce needs and align recruiting strategies with business objectives.

· Manage and improve the applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate experience.

· Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and EEO hiring practices.

· Build strong relationships with universities, professional associations, and industry networks to strengthen talent pipelines.

· Lead employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice.

· Provide metrics and reporting on recruitment effectiveness and hiring outcomes to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications

· 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience.

· Strong background in hiring engineers, technical professionals, and manufacturing talent.

· Ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.

Desired Qualifications

· Experience recruiting in the defense, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

· Knowledge of DoD contractor compliance, security clearance processes, and federal hiring requirements.

· Experience leading employer branding or talent pipeline initiatives.

Experience / Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field with 5–7 years of full-cycle recruiting/talent acquisition experience.
