Description

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to join our team in the high-performance coatings industry. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth by promoting our PVD and DLC coating services across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, firearms, medical, and metal forming.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target markets for PVD and DLC coating services.

• Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts; maintain long-term, strategic relationships.

• Sales Process Management: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact and quoting to closing, onboarding, and after-sales support.

• Technical Consultations: Work with engineering and production teams to provide technically sound proposals, advise on material compatibility, and ensure coating specifications meet customer requirements.

• Quoting and Pricing: Prepare and present accurate quotations; negotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform strategy and innovation.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records in CRM; provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U. S. Citizen.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand customer engineering drawings/specs.

• Self-starter with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

• Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field preferred.

• Familiarity with PVD coatings or similar technologies (e.g., plating, anodizing, heat treatment) is a strong plus.

Experience / Education

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years in technical sales or account management, preferably in surface treatments, coatings, or manufacturing services.
